FFA Farm Safety Achievement Award

The Stuart FFA Chapter was chosen to receive the FS4JK Farm Safety
Achievement Award. The award is given to outstanding FFA groups who have shown
farm safety initiative through their involvement with a Farm Safety 4 Just Kids
Chapter. The chapter joined 11 other FFA chapters from across the United States
who received an award certificate, member gifts, and a $100.00 check. Farm
Safety 4 Just Kids (FS4JK) is a
non-profit organization founded by Marilyn Adams following the death of her
11-year-old son in a gravity flow wagon the family’s Iowa farm. Today, the
organization has grown to over 150 volunteer chapters throughout the United
States and Canada. Farm Safety 4 Just Kids produces and provides farm safety
educational materials to their chapter, members, and the general public. FS4JK
is proud to work with organizations like FFA to raise farm safety awareness and
protect the future of farming-children.]
