4) Present a positive image of yourself and the chapter

 

~Secretary~

1) Prepare and read the minutes

2) Have an agenda prepared for meeting

3) Chair the executive committee meetings

4) Count and record votes

 

~Treasurer~

1) Assist in Preparing the Budget

2) Keep the Chapter Financial Records

3) Assist in Planning Fund Raising Events

4) Prepare Financial Statements

5) Assist in Collecting Dues

 

The Reporter~

1) Prepare news articles and contact local media

2) Send news articles to local papers and radio stations

 

~The Sentinel~

1) Set up the room for each meeting

2) Care for chapter paraphernalia

3) Welcome visitors

4) Keep the room comfortable

 

~The Parliamentarian~

1) Possess a thorough knowledge of parliamentary procedure

2) Assist president with parliamentary procedure during the meetings

3) Help chapter members learn parliamentary procedure

 

~The Historian~

1) Maintain the chapter scrapbook
